About Me

Hi, I’m James, the founder of Coral Life.

My passion for aquariums started in middle school when I kept a tank in my locker. After joining the Marine Corps in 2006, I kept that passion going by maintaining aquariums in the barracks and continuing to learn everything I could about marine life and reef keeping.

Over the years, I’ve learned through hands-on experience, time spent around local fish stores, large retail operations, and public aquarium environments. Coral Life was created to bring that experience together into a business built on healthy aquacultured coral, practical reef knowledge, and respect for the animals and ecosystems that inspire this hobby.

Coral Life is more than just a storefront to me. It is the result of years of passion, experience, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
